Olde English “Babydoll” Southdown Sheep

Our sheep are happy sheep.  They’re well loved and as gentle as can be.
If you’ve ever considered buying a few small animals to begin a family hobby farm, Babydoll sheep may be just what you’ve been looking for.  They’re easy to care for and a delight to have around.
With smiling teddy bear faces and docile natures, these beautiful animals are the perfect aesthetic complement to your family farm. Their small size (adults are generally less than 24” tall from the shoulder and weigh only 70 to 150 lbs.) makes them easy for even children to handle.  They’re great lawn mowers and, since they don’t eat trees and shrubs, they’re ideal for keeping the grass down in vineyards and orchards.
Our flock is registered with the Olde English Babydoll Southdown Sheep Registry. Contact us for information about adding an excellent quality ram or ewe lamb to your existing flock, or buying your first pair of sheep for a lovely addition to your small farm.
Please browse our site for information on this delightful breed. You’ll find links to photos and prices as well as comments from our happy buyers. Contact us anytime with questions at saintstephensfold@gmail.com.
